ACTIVITIES UNDER MY PROGRAM :
Every semester my course will held the activities like interpart, dinner for celebrate part 5 student , family camp for Part 1 student and the others.The work is devide followed by semester such as Part 3 will handle  the interpart program, part 4 will handle the dinner while part 5 will conduct the family camp for part 1 and Part 2. The activities need a strong co-operation between us.It also need the high patient to make sure all the activities was go on smoothly. Other than that , we also can learn how to work in a group. My experience is, I need to handle the part of gift during the interpart program. Its so interesting because I must to do the list of things before buy the gift and I also can learn how to make the paper work.The spirit in ateam work can help is to expand our ideas to make it more attractive.

In addition, the dinner program also teach me how to take care of our manners when I am in the big event and actually for respects our super senior. I was very appreciate this moment because sometimes I feel that the program can closed our related as a senior and junior.

FAMILY CAMP.....

 

 

Part 1 student

The family camp was handled by Part 5 student, it is for celebrated our junior.Actually is a very hard time for Part 1 student because they need to manage their time in its own.Besides, they also can't bring their handphone or smartphone during the camping. I admit this camping are very pressure and we need to be a strong person because the senior will push us with their power.For your information, the camping was held in UiTM forest and we also known the forest as 'Sri Gading'. Sri Gading is a near to the our factory but the journey to arrive at  Sri Gading need around 30 to  35 minutes.Actually the distance from factory to the forest its not too far because we have 2 ways that can we use.



CLUB SOCIETY IN WOOD INDUSTRY...

This is our logo. The Persip is stand for 'PERSATUAN INDUSTRI PERKAYUAN' or Wood Industry.The Persip is the club under the As117 club. All of us will enter the club automatically when we in this course. This club are very famous in our course because we can do a lot activities and can get the money from this club.

AS117 -Diploma In Wood Industry


Firstly, I really thank to God because give me the opportunity to studies in UiTM Pahang.I was so exited when I know I got this course.Before this,I admit that I never Know about this course. I am so happy  when I know the course is under the science faculty and I feel confident when I listen the word of 'science'. So, from that, I thougt that this is my first step to excellent in my life.  Life in campus is very complicated, it is because a lot of assignment need to do and sometimes it makes me  so pressure.


Learn in Wood Industry is the best experience that I will remember until at the end of my life. I still remember when I in first semester in this course I was so shocked because I need to learn again the pure science subject like chemistry biology and physics. It is so difficult to me to follow the subjects flow.Other than that, my timetable also is so full. My class is start from 8.00 a.m until 6.00 a.m. I never get enough rest when I in part 1 session. At  the end of the first semester, I really thank to God because I don't have any subject to repeat and I feel very happy.

The another story that I can describes is about my experience  in Part 2. For your information, this semester is the enjoyable semester. It is because I have learn the subject taht we call as a WTE 199 or known as a 'FOREST CAMP' subject.Then, the subject also don't have a axamination paper for final exam.We just complete the studies and get a mark from go to the trip at Taman Negara Pulau Pinang and we need to spent time for 1 weeks at here. All the activities like sukaneka and the others we need to handle in our own followed by our ccreativity.So, lectures give a mark from our co-operation, attitude and our manners in a team work. We also divide our group n owner and learn how to stand up the tent correctly.So, for me this is can give more knowledge and can teach us how to manage our life when in the critical times.


Besides, we also learn the dendrology subject. The  subject is, help us how to make sure the types of tree,characteristics of the leaves and tree, and remember the sciencetific name of the tree species.There are devide by 2 species. It is may consist of  non-dpterocarp and dipterocarp. I still remember that every night my friends and I try to remember each  the name of sciencetific name of every tree. Its so funny because the name is very difficult to speak and their spelling is also complicated.


Now, I was in part 3 student and our tittle also change to 'senior'. For me,hold the tittle is not so easy like they think. It is because, we need to handle the interpart program and need the strong co-operation from us. In same times, we also has a lot comitment to be the best student like have more assignment to do and we need to sacrifice our time also.In addition, subject in part 3 is very hard to me, its because I need more energy to stayed up at night. The subject like adhesives, sawmilling  and CSC 134 make me can't sleep at night. I need to have strong memory to remember  the terms in each subjects.I am so pressure.


Finally, I wish that I will finish my study until part 6 widely without any repeatest subject.- AMIN

Diploma In  Wood Industry AS117

Diploma in Wood Industry is very interesting course.It is because the subject will give us more information about wood,cell in the wood and know the  types of machine and how to use.

Our commitment to excellence in studies of wood-based which  more important to get higher skills and knowledge in managing aspects and producing aspects in the wood based industry in present and future, increase the opportunity for our job to develop our career is main character and always make sure to make Mara University of Technology become the center of cooperation and reference inside and outside the country in producing wood products from rainforest .I admit that ,when I studies in this course I am so happy and get more knowledge. In Part 2, I was learn about how to know the types of leaves and know about their characteristics.I also known about the tropical rain forest and the other types of forest.



This is some of our history and background. Diploma in Wood – Based Industry (Diploma Industri Perkayuan) or Diploma in Wood – Technology is established in 1973 under the Faculty of Applied Sciences. It was the one and only Diploma Program in Malaysia during that time. In the beginning, this course was accomplished in Shah Alam. Then, for some infrastructure reason, this course was transfer to UiTM Pahang branch (Jengka), which provide a better infrastructure facilities and more space that suitable for this course studies environment. This transfer was accomplished in 1995 .


As conclusion, I  hope my explaination can attract you,to our intersting course.

My Self...

For the first sentence from me, I want to introduce about myself.To make my introduction becomes interesting may I tell you about my full name is Saidatul Natra Bt.Mohd Nazri. I was born in Hospital Parit Bumtar, Perak Darul Ridzuan.But now, I stayed in  Baling Kedah Darul Aman.I stayed in Kedah more than 10 years. My first school is Sek. Keb. Tawar, and after 3 years i was change my school at Sek.Model Khas Baling.For me,this school is very unique because the school was combined the students from Year 4 until Form 5.There have a large school area and also have a big hostel for students. I was stayed in this hostel around my age at 10 years old. I stayed at this hostel around 8 years old since  I was in Year 4 until Form 5. I admit that life in hostel not easy and simple that they think. It is because in the young age I need to manage my time widely in my own without my parents. I need to wash my clothes in my own and the others. I still remember that, since I was 10 years old I always cry at night when I miss my parents at home. Its so difficult time to me to handle the problem,but I am so happy to have a parent who are very understanding what I want. Every weekend, my parent come to visit me at hostel and bring to me some food and drinks.So, from that I create my own self confidence and try to be the best child for my lovely parents. Now, I am 19 years old and I was further my studies at UiTM Pahang in Wood Industry course.Actually my dreamings is want to be the writer one day.I also want to be an excellent business one day, even its take too long time but I will make sure it will become the truth,Finally, I hope that is the first step to have a light future. I also hope this program will be my best ways.
